The CR Division is not only devoted to maintaining production and quality standards but it is also conscious of its responsibility towards the community. As a manufacturing plant one of its primary concerns is the maintainence of an environmental balance in and around the premises. We are proud to say that keeping in mind our committment towards a healthy community, we have steeled ourselves against environmental hazards.

Environmental protection has been one of the primary concerns of the HERO
Group of Companies as a whole. Continuing the tradition of deep-felt consciousness
towards environmental causes, the CR Division has invested a sum of Rs
5 Million, in pro-environmental causes. The measures adopted by the CR
Division at its various sites can be summed up as:
Steeling
against environmental hazards
- Green belt development- Plantation of trees along the CR plant premise boundary & grass covering in the CR plant
- Fully equipped effluent treatment plant
- Establishment of a separate Horticulture cell
- Adequate height of chimneys/ stacks for guaranteed safe dissipation.
- The
project meets and exceeds all the guidelines and stimulations of the
State and Central Government Bodies for pollution control and environmental
safety
